Four local professionals, John Warburton of BRI Business Recovery and Insolvency, Ian Barkes of Barclays Bank and Ian Chown & David Rupp of Smith Hodge and Baxter successfully completed The Extra Mile Four Nations Challenge. A challenge of 500 miles in 3 days through Belgium, France, Luxemburg and Germany.
Extra Mile Cycle Challenge is a registered charity with the prime objective of organising events to raise money for other charities. Two-thirds of the money raised has been donated to a local cancer charity and the remaining one-third has been given to one of three charities chosen by the organisers. Between them, they managed to raise a total of £1840.
