BRI Business Recovery and Insolvency, local business recovery and insolvency specialists, have moved from The Quadrant, where they shared their office with many other local professionals, to a bigger office at King Chambers, Coventry, CV1 3EH.
Gavin Bates, an Insolvency Practitioner with over 17 year’s experience, leads the BRI Coventry Team. He is pleased with the move stating “This move enables BRI to continue with our local growth plans and further enhances the services that we can provide to the Coventry and Warwickshire community. Being an entirely independent insolvency practice BRI is proud of the fact that the majority of its referrals come from other professional contacts – in particular accountants and solicitors. However, increasingly referrals are coming through former satisfied customers. This, I believe, reflects the high quality of practical, straightforward advice offered by us.” The new premises are larger and help the company continue to grow in Coventry.
The key, as Gavin explains, is being consulted at an early stage. “Our biggest hurdle to overcome is the pride or fear of the individuals affected, who invariably have an unfounded preconception of the role of an insolvency practitioner. Most people we see are surprised at our approach and our ability to assist them with dealing with an unfamiliar or difficult situation. No-one goes into business expecting to fail or to have to meet with an insolvency practitioner. Very often people regard it as an admission of failure. That is not necessarily the case – it is simply reality. We try to explain the worst possible outcome and the likely effect on those involved as that will often overcome unfounded fears and beliefs. The alternatives then become more palatable and decisions can be made on a more informed basis.
